Design Works Architecture is a full-service architectural firm. Our company prides itself on being able to service clients with architectural design and interior detailing services, ensuring that clients are guided throughout the accumulation of hundreds of decisions to a well coordinated exterior and interior design.
Throughout the home building process, clients will work with our talented team of architects and interior design professionals to achieve their desired design story.
Our Process
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
When a client engages us to design a new home, addition or other structure, we follow a disciplined process that focuses on iteration and communication. The three phases of the design process are schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
During the schematic design phase, we visit the home or building site with the client and discuss the existing conditions. The result of this meeting will be the creation of a massing-model of the house, along with floor plans and a site plan.
Once all the plans have been reviewed and approved by our clients, we move onto the design development phase. During design development, our team of architects will walk you through inch decisions to ensure the design meets the client's needs.
Once the iterations of design development are completed, the final phase of the design process begins, construction documents. The construction document phase produces the drawings and details necessary to build the structure.
Our Process
INTERIOR DETAILING
Our focus is to ensure clients have an understanding of spatial awareness in their new spaces thru the use of material sample boards, renderings and digital modeling.
Interior design and detailing services are utilized when creating kitchen and bathroom designs, built-in casework, or any mill working necessities. Clients will be guided through product selection such as cabinetry and hardware, lighting, tile, flooring and any other aspect of their living space. Working with our interior design group, clients will be guided throughout the initial phases of the detailing process, concept development, up until the final design review and ordering phase. Our designers will perform site visits during the installation phase to ensure an efficiency in installation and to allow project timeline to stay on track.

Design Works Architecture takes pride in the home building process and ensuring all project needs are met. In addition to our services, we can incorporate additional servicing options to assist in a variety of project needs.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
We partner with a Registered Landscape Architect to coordinate landforms, plantings and hardscape design with the new structure and site. Landscape design is another way to convey a specific design style.

BID ADMINISTRATION
Our experience and knowledge of construction allow us to help the client solicit and review bids for construction. We provide unbiased opinions on scope, schedule and pricing.
The contractors shown in this section are the builders of many of the projects featured in our portfolio. Please note there are many other accomplished builders to be considered in the bidding phase.
